Frequently Asked Questions

Highland Knoll Townhomes Association is a small HOA Community with 25 Homes.  We have 14 Twin Home Units (7 Buildings with common walls) and 11 Single Family Homes.

Our HOA has two separate Regular Annual Assessments "Monthly Dues" based on a unit type. Dues are defined based on Single Family Home units and Dues for Twin Home units.  All Units pay dues for the following, considered "Common" dues:

• Trash & Recycling Waste Management Service
• Lawncare and Landscaping Service
• Snow Plowing and Snow Removal Service
• HOA Management Services (technology, legal, general insurance and accounting services)
• Common Area Maintenance (common spaces, street signage, private road, mailboxes, etc.)
• Common Replacement Reserve (replacement of items under maintenance)

Twin Homes (units with a shared wall) have the following additional services included in their dues:

• Exterior Maintenance (roofing, siding, decks, exterior elements, etc.)
• Exterior Replacement Reserve (replacement of items under maintenance)

Items not covered by the HOA for any unit and other items not defined in the governing documents:

• Windows, AC Units, Sprinkler Systems, Driveways, Patios, etc.

The school bus stop is between one and two blocks away, depending on the location of the homes within our HOA. The bus stop is located at the intersection of Kingsfield LN and Knollwood LN.
